COTA Australia’s submission congratulates the signatories on their progress in bedding down the principles of the Energy Charter. We support that some are now targeting actions that move beyond regulatory obligations or ‘business as usual’. 

COTA retains some fundamental concerns about elements of the legislation, that we hope can be addressed through the legislative process.

COTA Australia welcomes the Bill and supports its purpose of enabling essential reforms to the aged care system recommended by the Royal Commission. We strongly encourage its passage through the Parliament.
