In this submission COTA Australia provides recommendations regarding draft rules on Support at Home funding.
It is critically important that older people receive clear information about hardship provisions and how to apply for this support.
The Rules also need to be flexible in responding to exceptional circumstances. Choice and self-determination should be a major objective of the Support at Home (SaH) program.
