COTA Australia will host a webinar by NAB’s Group Security team on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 12pm (AEST) to help you better protect yourself against the growing scourge of scams.

This video of older people receiving home care and residents of aged care discussing what it would feel like if a provider was upholding your rights, was played at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission's Conference in April 2024.

The Hon. Christopher Pyne has joined COTA Australia as our new independent Chair! Mr Pyne replaces outgoing independent chair, Jane Halton AO PSM. Mr Pyne, a former Federal Minister, including in health and ageing portfolios, has a long history of dedication to public welfare in his political life.

COTA Australia is collecting responses for the Senate Community Affairs References Committee (RC) into issues related to menopause and perimenopause and their affect on workforce participation.

We were thrilled – and a little humbled – by the enthusiastic response to our consultation forums on the future of aged care. Almost 4,000 people registered for joint COTA/OPAN events across Australia.
