The Aged Care Navigators Trial ran from 2019 and ended on 31 December 2022.
COTA Australia led the successful consortia of organisations to fund different models of navigation that would help people understand and engage with the aged care system. Evaluation of the Navigators Trial can be found at Health.gov.au’s Navigator Measure.
The findings from these trials were used to inform the design of the Care Finders program. COTA Australia created a number of Care Finder resources to inform and assist Care Finders in their work.
