Consumers and aged care peak bodies have revised the visitors code on 26 June 2023.
The June 2023 revised code has been updated for:
- 2023 National Plan and statement & covers other outbreaks
- Up-to-date vaccination advice from ATAGI
- Simplification and pointing to supporting documents rather than covering all aspects of IPC, etc in the Code
- Maintaining Essential Visitors
- Clarifying CDNA guidance for isolation and release from isolation processes
