On Friday 22 August, 2025, Google Australia delivered Project BRIDGE (Building Resilience, Inclusion & Digital Growth for Elders) – supported by COTA Australia.
The event took place in Melbourne and also online and delivered a free Scams Awareness Training session and included a presentation by NASC ScamWatch.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to address the harm caused by scams and to build digital confidence amongst older Australians. Project BRIDGE aims to empower older Australians to become community advocates, so you have the skills to protect yourself from scams and educate your friends too.
