COTA Australia, OPAN and 10 other national organisations working with older people and carers today released a submission on the exposure draft for the new Aged Care Act.

Our key message to the Senate Select Committee on Supermarket Prices is, "the amount paid at supermarket checkouts is a critical concern for many older households".  Our January 2024 survey shows food and grocery prices are impacting older households.  

COTA Australia's pre- budget submission recommends actions that can be taken by Government to address ageism and close the retirement gap for older women, and improve health, housing, and aged care outcomes for older Australians.
