Telstra Payment Assistant Policy

Telstra has recently advised that it has replaced its Financial Hardship Policy with a refreshed Payment Assistant Policy (link provided below).

This new Payment Assistance Policy outlines a range of payment options to help customers, including more time to pay or a tailored payment plan, amongst other options.  It also includes updated information about how customers can contact Telstra to apply for support.   most relevant numbers for customers to call does depend on the type of contract held, but without a copy of the Policy the easiest is to call 13 22 00 (Monday – Friday, 8am – 6:30pm AEST) and say “payment assistance”. Alternatively, you can complete an online application form for Payment Assistant Support at www.telstra.com/hardship,

The new Policy is available in multiple languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Arabic and Punjabi.
